Everyone wonders why I'm not active on the 18WoS forums anymore. Well, I've just been busy... And I started doing something new, and something I'd like to see Ivan try to do.
I am a huge NASCAR fan. I love NASCAR and my favorite driver is Jeff Gordon. Jeff Gordon has four championships, eighty-two wins, and has been called one of NASCAR's twenty best drivers. Although he is struggling to get a win these last few years, he's still dominating races, leading laps, and finishing in the top five a lot.
Well, I liked NASCAR so much that I looked for a NASCAR game for my computer... It's called NASCAR Racing 2003 Season.
The game cost me $110, and it was worth it. It's the best simulator I have ever bought. The game has so many mods. You don't have to just race NASCAR stock cars. Modders have made rally cars, go-karts, late models, and more. There are normally twenty-two tracks in NASCAR, but modders have made hundreds, literally, hundreds of new tracks. The game was released in 2003, but modders have updated the game.
And guess what? I'm a 3dsMax modder. Yup, I mod in 3dsMax. I also create tracks. How? Not in Zmod. Not in 3dsMax. In a program called "Sandbox for NR2003". And making tracks isn't like a map editor in 18WoS. The track is just a thin green line. You have no idea if you have a texture problem or a problem with a mod or track until you try it in-game. And there's no error report log like the Prism3D.
The game is really awesome if you like racing. Even if you don't like NASCAR, you should try it.
